Our Goal: "Raise the Best Tasting Naturally Farmed Meats you've ever had."

P&K Farms is located in Clermont, GA and was created by a small group of family members (including myself) looking to improve our food, our pastures, and our community. We are currently offering a variety of pasture raised meat products, all of which are raised using naturally farmed practices with one goal in mind "raise the best tasting naturally farmed meats you have ever had" - here are a few of our standards for what we call “naturally farmed.”

Our animals are regeneratively farmed, rotated on pasture where they can forage for a variety of food sources, and supplemented a Non-GMO, Corn, and Soy Free feed. They are never given any added hormones, antibiotics, or vaccines at any point during their life span *(Not just before slaughter like antibiotic/hormone free labels require)

We never spray our fields with herbicides, pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or fungicides. We rely on our animals to manage our pasture the way God designed them to.

More Than Just a Buzzword
Why Regenerative Matters

Healthy Soil, Healthy Pastures, Healthy Food

Regenerative agriculture is more than a farming method—it’s a commitment to regenerating the land in a way that produces the healthier soil, therefore healthier forage, and finally the best tasting nutrient dense food possible. At P&K Family Farms, we don’t just sustain the land; we restore it, ensuring that every season brings more biodiversity, and more nutrient-dense food for future generations.

How We Farm Regeneratively

Keep the Soil Covered
– We never leave the soil bare. Whether through permanent pasture cover, activating a natural seedbank, or animal impact, we ensure that soil stays protected, preventing erosion, retaining moisture, and feeding essential microbes that keep it thriving

Rotational Grazing for Strong Roots & Fat Forage – We move our livestock across the pasture in carefully planned rotations, allowing deep-rooted grasses to thrive while preventing overgrazing. This practice builds organic matter in the soil, leading to healthier, more productive pastures

Pigs & Chickens on the Move – Our pigs and chickens are moved daily or weekly, ensuring they forage naturally while fertilizing the land. This constant movement prevents soil compaction, eliminates disease buildup, and maximizes pasture recovery, allowing the land to heal and grow richer after each cycle.

Build Richer Soil & Tastier Meat

Healthy Pastures Feed Healthy Animals, Which Feed Healthy People

Never Overgrazing – We closely monitor pasture usage to ensure that livestock only graze the top portion of the forage, leaving behind strong root structures. This allows plants to regrow quickly, pull more carbon from the air, and build healthier soil for the future

No-Till, No-Chemical Fields – Unlike conventional farms that rely on plowing and synthetic inputs, we let our livestock do the work. Their natural behaviors turn the soil, aerate it, and fertilize it—without disturbing the delicate microbial life that makes soil so productive

Water Retention & Drought Resilience – By keeping the ground covered and allowing deep-rooted plants to establish, we help our pastures hold more water, reduce runoff, and stay green even in dry conditions. This means healthier grass, stronger animals, and less reliance on outside inputs.

FAQ's

What do your animals eat?

Our animals eat a variety of natural forage including native grasses, cover crops, and perennial pasture grasses. This mix in diet gives our livestock varied nutrient profiles and help ensure our pastures produce in all seasons from drought to heavy rains.

We never spray our multi-species pastures with pesticides or herbicides giving grasshoppers and other insets a chance to establish and serve as favorite snacks for our chickens.

Our Chickens and Pigs are offered a free choice NON-GMO, Soy Free feed milled at Resaca Sun

Do you use herbicides or pesticides?

We do not use any herbicides, pesticides, or authentic fertilizers in our pastures.

Are your products NON-GMO?

Our livestock are fed a locally made, non-gmo feed that is completely corn and soy free. The food includes various minerals to help promote optimal wellness with no medicine whatsoever. In addition to daily feed, our livestock also get a good portion of their nutritional intake from the grass and bugs within the pasture they are raised on.

Are your animals given any antibiotics or hormones?

NEVER! Our livestock is completly vaccine and medicine free. The high need for continual medicine and vaccines in commercially farmed operations is truly due to the inhumane, restrictive ways the livestock live. On the contrary, our livestock get constant airflow, new ground, free access to fresh water, bugs and grasses, and sunlight. Just like us, our sickness is often caused by our lifestyle, and we have made sure our animals are living large!

Do you grow or use products that are genetically modified?

No, our livestock is fed a locally made, non-gmo feed that is completely corn and soy free. In addition to daily feed, our livestock also get a good portion of their nutritional intake from the grass and bugs within the pasture they are raised on.

Is your meat USDA Certified?

Yes, our livestock is processed at a USDA certified facility.

How do you define Pastured?

We like to say our livestock is “truly pasture raised” misleading food labels have blurred the lines for commercial growers but our animals are outside 24/7 They are moved onto fresh pasture/forest each day providing new forage and fresh bedding.
