Our chickens live outside 24/7 in mobile shelters that are moved to fresh grass daily. This daily rotation gives our birds constant access to clean ground, fresh forage, bugs, and grasshoppers — exactly what chickens are designed to eat.
We feed a non-GMO, corn-free, soy-free feed with no antibiotics, hormones, vaccines, or chemicals — ever. Our birds are never debeaked and live naturally as chickens should, scratching and foraging on open pasture.
After harvest, our chickens are air-chilled — not soaked in chlorine solution like conventional poultry. The result is chicken that's measurably more nutritious: 5x more Vitamin E, 7x more Beta-Carotene, 3x more Omega-3 fatty acids, and a 1:1 Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio compared to 15:1 in conventional chicken.
It's more labor intensive than conventional production, but the difference shows up on your plate.

Pickup was a breeze and everyone was great! Did a test of their chicken vs expensive organic and regular cheap Purdue. Not even close and now I can't go back. Zero chemical or weird aftertastes and the texture is much better, no rubber-like or stringy bites. 100% recommend for taste and texture, let alone the higher health benefits.

I love your products. I understand that I can't always get my preferred items. However, I got three of the products I asked never to include. Thank you for your integrity in farming and finding superior products. I used the boneless, skinless chicken for a lovely salad, and the pork roast for pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce. Yum!

This chicken is sooo much better than anything I’ve ever had. I always buy organic chicken but the bleach bath they put them through is gross. When I used to cook my store bought organic chicken, I would have to drain the water that cooks out of it like 3 times before finishing the recipe. This chicken is so clean and tasty. I cook it bone broth and all my recipes with chicken in them are great just like the picture of my Greek spaghetti. Thank you for everything you do! What a delicious box! The whole hens were huge. I cut one in half to make several meals. The broth from cooking a half hen in the Instant Pot is marvelous. Your broth is great, too. Jon made an omelet with the chicken sausage. The chicken livers are amazing! It’s been years since I saw any poultry livers that healthy looking. I made some amazing pate using the livers and schmaltz from the top of the broth I made. Thank you! I made need to upgrade my box!
I made my first dinner with P&K chicken breast tonight. It was delicious!! I was very impressed with how it looked and felt, very different from store bought. I am so grateful to have found you and I intended to be healthier and happier because of the obvious better quality food you provide.

The chicken thighs and breasts were big and fresh looking and yummy - can't get anything like them in the stores. We also used the chuck roast to make the Pot Roast recipe on their website. That was also fantastic. Will be reordering all of these!

Hands down the best chicken I’ve ever had. I love them so much I bought chicken for a year a second time. I’ve eaten all of them and ordered the backs (it was all that was left) The backs were much better than expected. There is a lot of meat on them. I am a customer for life!

All the items arrived in good shape. My only complaint is the blood from the chicken liver packs spilled out all over the box interior materials.
Great delivery! We got all our favorite cuts of chicken, including whole chicken. The variety includes whole chicken, chicken parts, and chicken broth. All has been yummy! I really appreciate chicken that is not fed either soy or corn. It's hard to find. We got some nice pork chops to try. They were very delicious! Thank you for what you do!
So far, so good! We have loved all the meats that have come with our Homestead box. The meats are all tender and juicy. I wasn't familiar with cooking the beef shank, but now I am honing my skills and enjoying learning more about preparation of different cuts. Looking forward to our next box! Thanks so much!

The meat we have tasted so far is very good. However , $250 for 10 lbs of beef is high.

First time trying the beef/pork and chicken box. Have tried a little of eat type and loved them all. Pork chops cooked on the grill beautifully and were nice and tender. The pan-seared chicken was tender and juicy. Ground beef made some really flavorful and nice burgers. The pork sausage had a great flavor and was a little fatty for us.

I have Systemic Nickel Allergy Syndrome and must avoid foods high in Nickel. Can’t eat any processed foods, food in cans, or most produce. Really have been missing soup but the thought of making bone broth myself was overwhelming. So happy I found your site and knew I needed to try it. It was so awesome to be able to make chicken and rice soup. The taste was excellent and I didn’t need to add any additional spices. Best of all I didn’t flare from eating the soup. Why We Partner:
We raise chicken at full capacity on our current home farm, but here's the reality: we've sold out of chicken every single year, even as we've scaled up our production. The demand for our pasture-raised, corn and soy-free chicken has simply outgrown our growing capacity.
While we desire and plan to grow all of our own production ourselves, we're working hard to keep up with your demand. Partnering with this farm has allowed us to serve more families without compromising the standards that matter most to you—and to us.

Do I need a lot of freezer space?
No! We'll set up a custom delivery schedule with you over the year. Your order will be broken into 4 deliveries throughout the year to save on freezer space.
What does "truly pasture raised" mean?
Our chickens are outside 24/7 and moved onto fresh pasture/forest each day, providing new forage and fresh bedding. Food labels have blurred the lines for commercial growers, but our animals live on pasture full-time.
What do you feed your chickens?
Our chickens are fed a locally made, non-GMO feed that is completely corn and soy free. The feed includes various minerals to promote optimal wellness with no medicine whatsoever. They also get a good portion of their nutrition from grass and bugs within the pasture.
Why order a full year in advance?
Due to the way we raise our birds we have sold out each season. Ordering your chicken this way allows us to plan for the upcoming season and ensures you have nutrient-dense pasture raised chicken for your whole family at a discounted rate versus buying periodically during the year.
What is your payment and refund policy?
Given our planning and allocation for your birds, payment is taken in full and is non-refundable.
