Whole Chicken (CORN AND SOY FREE)

The pinnacle of all family dinners and social gatherings, the whole chicken. We love the whole bird because the meal ideas are endless and you can really stretch it. Typically we start with a whole roasted chicken, separate out the bones for broth, use the leftover bits for chicken soup/pie/casserole, and the list goes on! Most importantly though, please keep in mind that due to our chickens' unique diet (grass, grains, seeds, bugs, and grubs in the soil) coupled with an active lifestyle, they have less fat than commercially grown chickens. As a result, they cook faster and to prevent drying, we recommend using a meat thermometer and finishing at an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

All of our poultry are raised without the use of antibiotics, steroids, or added growth hormones. Our meat is processed and vacuumed sealed in a USDA Certified facility with labeling and handling instructions.
