P&K Family Farms is a regenerative family farm in Clermont, Georgia — about an hour northeast of Atlanta — raising pastured chicken, 100% grass-finished beef, and pastured pork. We deliver directly to customers throughout the Atlanta metro area, from Alpharetta and Roswell to Buckhead and Decatur, Marietta to Sandy Springs, and everywhere in between.
What makes us different from what you'll find at Whole Foods, Kroger, or even most farmers markets:
Our chickens live on open pasture 24/7 and are moved to fresh ground every single day. Our beef is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished — never grain, never feedlot — raised on 50+ species of diverse forage and lab-tested by the University of Mississippi for nutrient density. Our pork is raised on wooded pasture with regular rotation. Every animal is fed non-GMO, corn-free, soy-free feed with no antibiotics, no hormones, and no mRNA vaccines — ever.
We're not a subscription box company sourcing from anonymous farms. We're the farmers. You're buying directly from the people who raise your food.

Why Atlanta Families Are Switching to Farm-Direct Meat
You can't get this at a grocery store. Even the "pasture-raised" chicken at Whole Foods comes from birds that had access to a small outdoor area they may never have used. Even the "grass-fed" beef at Kroger was likely imported — an estimated 75-80% of grass-finished beef sold in the U.S. comes from other countries.
When you buy from P&K Family Farms, you know exactly where your food came from, how it was raised, and who raised it. That's not a marketing claim — it's a standing invitation to visit our farm and see for yourself.
Buy a Beef Share Near Atlanta: Quarter, Half, and Whole Cow
One of the most common questions we get from Atlanta customers is: "Can I buy a half cow near me?"
Yes. We sell quarter, half, and whole beef shares from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished cattle. Here's how it works:
How beef shares work: You're reserving a portion of a whole animal raised specifically for direct-to-consumer sale. The animal is raised on regenerative pastures, processed at a USDA-inspected facility, vacuum-sealed, and delivered directly to you frozen and ready for your freezer.
What you get in a beef share:
A typical share includes a mix of steaks (ribeye, NY strip, sirloin, filet), roasts (chuck, rump, arm), ground beef, stew meat, short ribs, brisket, soup bones, and other cuts depending on your share size. A half cow typically yields 150-200+ pounds of take-home meat.
Why Atlanta families buy beef shares:
- Cost per pound drops significantly compared to buying individual cuts
- You fill your freezer for months with the highest quality beef available
- You know exactly where it came from — one farm, one animal, fully traceable
- You're investing in regenerative agriculture that improves soil health and sequesters carbon
Current availability: Beef shares are seasonal and sell out. We take deposits to reserve your share, with specific fulfillment windows throughout the year. The best way to guarantee your spot is to get on the list early.
Not sure what to do with all the cuts? Our guide to eating through a beef share covers every cut with recipes your family will actually cook.

We offer beef shares (quarter, half, whole), Ribeye Sampler Boxes, and individual cuts. Our farm is in Clermont, Georgia, about an hour northeast of Atlanta.
What's the difference between grass-fed and grass-finished?
Nearly all cattle start on grass before many are moved to feedlots for grain-finishing. "Grass-fed" has no federal standard since the USDA dropped its definition in 2016 — so it can mean almost anything. "Grass-finished" means the animal ate nothing but grass and forage for its entire life. Our cattle are both 100% grass-fed AND grass-finished with zero grain ever.
Is your chicken really pasture-raised?
Yes — and there's a big difference between our chickens and the "pasture-raised" label you see at grocery stores. Most store-bought "pasture-raised" chicken comes from birds with access to a small outdoor area they may never use. Our chickens live outside 24/7 on open pasture in mobile shelters that are moved to completely fresh ground every single day. They eat bugs, grass, and forage alongside their non-GMO, corn-free, soy-free feed.
Why is your feed corn-free and soy-free?
Soy contains phytoestrogens — plant compounds that mimic estrogen in the body. Corn and soybeans are the two most heavily sprayed crops in the U.S. with glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup). Over 90% of both crops are genetically modified specifically to survive direct application of this herbicide. We eliminate corn, soy, and GMOs from our feed entirely.
